The most difficult part of my day? Trying to take a photo of @faycetime, Chicago and me. (at Skydeck Chicago)

Some people don’t exist on Facebook, and I forget that.  I love that you each have taken the time to dis”like” that I only post on Facebook and I will do my best to put he good stuff here to.

So, for those who have requested it, yesterday I posted this: ”I have said this before, but when I am at my best, I am operating my life like a business. And, like all successful businesses, successful lives include (and must embrace) failure. For it is the journey of failure, of falling flat on your face, and having no other option than to figure out how to pick yourself up that defines you. That adds meaning. That makes the failures more important than the accomplishments.”

And tonight, I posted this: ”And with all my talk about the necessity of failure, I walked into work today to see this in an email from our VP of Operations:

"I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed". -Michelle Jordan

Thanks MJ, and Thank you Griff!”

Now, stop reading my repetitive posts and go risk failure.

We will #runforboston because we can, for those who can’t.
Please let me know if you’d like to join and share this with everyone you know. #run #bostonmarathon

Food Matters trailer

I watched this last night. It fucked me up and I know most of this, it’s common sense, but it’s still so amazing how differently than this we actually live. I was raised eating food from a garden with almost every meal, eating locally and drinking tons of water. At the time it seemed like I was different than everyone else, but now I’m so thankful to my parents for thinking about what we consumed and caring so much about what went into our bodies. Americans need to wake the fuck up. Being vegan isn’t enough, eating raw isn’t enough. It’s a cultural shift, it’s about understanding that convenience literally equals death for most Americans. It’s never too late to change how and what you consume. Spend more time making food for yourself and your body will thank you. I rarely drink carbonated sodas but know I see no reason for it, I don’t by many foods with preservatives, but now… no reason for it. To quote the Gorilla Biscuits: LET’S START TODAY!

love it!
